My mind is far away
So I can't concentrate
Inside my head I'm running
With the animals of Mistmantle.
With Crispin and Padra
Cedar and Fir
Sepia and Needle
and Urchin of the Riding Stars.
We run around all day long
Until danger appears
Then we all gather arms
and defend our Island.
I have fun
Get in trouble
Live out my life.
But then someone calls my name,
Then I am ripped
Most unceremoniously
Away from the Isle of Mistmantle
And I am bored again
Stuck in the real world
Wishing to go back.

I wrote this about the series of books called "The Mistmantle Chronicles" and how I'm always daydreaming about going there myself....I so wish that was the true reality.

If you haven't read it yet I deff suggest it, its my favorite series of books.
